This policy explains how AMAYUSH by Jinal Vora handles the information you give us through this website. It covers the enquiry forms, the newsletter signup and the ordinary technical records every website keeps.

1. Who we are

AMAYUSH is the clinical nutrition practice of Jinal Vora, offering consultations and programs in Mumbai and online. In this policy, "we", "us" and "AMAYUSH" mean that practice. "You" means anyone who uses this website or sends us an enquiry through it.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry, book a consultation or subscribe to the Journal, we collect what you type into the form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone or WhatsApp number, along with the country code
• Your city, where the form asks for it
• Which program or topic you are enquiring about
• Anything you choose to write in the message box

Some forms invite you to describe your symptoms, your history or what you have already tried. That is entirely your choice. You can send a short enquiry and save the detail for the consultation itself.

Information collected automatically

When a form is submitted we also record the page you submitted it from, your IP address and your browser's user agent string. We keep these to prevent spam and abuse of the forms, and to understand which page an enquiry came from.

We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or any other tracking on this website.

3. Health information

Health information you send through this website is used for one purpose: so Jinal can understand your case and respond to you properly. If you become a client, the information you share during consultations is handled as part of your client record and is subject to the same care.

Please do not send us reports, prescriptions or detailed medical history through the website forms. Bring them to your consultation, where they can be discussed securely and in context.

4. Why we use your information

We use what you give us to:

• Reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
• Schedule and confirm your consultation
• Prepare for your consultation and deliver your program
• Send you the Journal newsletter, if you asked for it
• Keep our own records of enquiries and clients
• Keep the website secure and free of spam

We rely on your consent, given when you tick the box and submit a form. Where you become a client, we also use your information to perform the service you have engaged us for.

We do not use your information to send marketing you did not ask for, and we never sell it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make this practice run:

• Our web host, which stores the website and its database
• Our email provider, which delivers enquiry notifications and our replies to you
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests these files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies it needs to function:

• A session cookie, so the site can keep track of your visit while you move between pages
• A security token cookie, which protects the forms against cross site request forgery

There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third party tracking cookies. Because we set nothing beyond what is strictly necessary, you will not find a cookie consent banner here.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful to the practice, so that we have context if you come back to us months later. Client records are kept for as long as you are a client, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that your history is available if you return.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we are required to keep it by law.

8. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and as a matter of ordinary good practice, you can ask us to:

• Show you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
• Withdraw your consent at any time, which stops any further use that depended on it
• Stop emailing you, either by using the unsubscribe link or by telling us directly

Write to nutrition@amayushbyjinal.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.

9. How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry and client records is limited to Jinal and the people who need it to run the practice, and is protected by individual accounts and passwords.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot promise that information sent over the internet can never be intercepted. What we can promise is that we do not collect more than we need, and we do not keep it anywhere it does not belong.

10. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children through it. Where a program involves a child, such as family nutrition, we deal with the parent or guardian, who provides the information and the consent.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing the text.
